Recliner Cleaning
Recliner & Office Chair Cleaning done right.
Recliners and office chairs see more direct, prolonged contact with one person than any other piece of furniture in the house. The result: heavy body-oil buildup at headrest and armrest contact points, food and drink spills around the seating area, and pet hair embedded deep in the cushion seams. Our recliner cleaning service uses truck-mounted hot-water extraction with fabric-specific pre-treatment. Both fixed and reclining positions are cleaned, including the often-missed footrest fabric.
What you get
- Targets body-oil buildup at headrest and armrest contact points
- Cleans cushion seams where pet hair and crumbs collect
- Includes footrest fabric — often missed by DIY cleaning attempts
- Safe for microfiber, leather-look synthetic, cotton, and linen blends
- Lift chairs and oversized recliners welcome
- Free hallway, closet, and spot treatment when you book online
Our Process
How recliner cleaning works
Position & Inspection
We work the recliner through its positions to identify wear patterns and stains. Reclined position reveals fabric and seams that aren't visible at rest.
Pre-Treatment
Headrest, armrest, and seat contact points get heavier pre-spray than the back panel — those are where body oils concentrate.
Position-by-Position Extraction
We extract in upright position first, then partial recline, then full recline — making sure every fabric surface gets cleaned without missing the joints.
Conditioning & Speed Dry
Fabric conditioning restores softness. Air movers run while the recliner sits in partial recline for maximum airflow. Most recliners dry in 4–6 hours.
FAQ
Recliner Cleaning questions
How much does recliner cleaning cost in Honolulu?
Recliners are priced at $20 per linear foot measured on-site, subject to the $195 minimum service charge. The minimum applies if a recliner is the only piece on the visit. Most customers add a recliner to a sofa or carpet job so the minimum is already covered by the rest of the work.
How long does recliner cleaning take?
On-site cleaning is 30–45 minutes per recliner. Drying takes 4–6 hours. Larger lift chairs and oversized recliners can run a bit longer.
Can you clean a power recliner without damaging the motor?
Yes — our process is fabric-only. The motor and electronics are protected from moisture; we don't extract anywhere near the control mechanism. We've cleaned hundreds of power recliners and lift chairs without issues.
Will the leather-look fabric on my recliner be safe?
Synthetic leather-look fabrics (PU, PVC, vinyl) get a different treatment — surface cleaning and conditioning rather than hot-water extraction. We always check the fabric before deciding the method. Genuine leather we don't clean ourselves; we'll recommend a leather specialist.
